Participation in a Luncheon with the German Bundestag Budget Committee Delegation

AES Mobility Co., Ltd. participated, as a mobility-focused startup, in a luncheon held in Tokyo on April 9, 2026 with the visiting delegation of the Budget Committee of the German Bundestag (Haushaltsausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages), upon recommendation from an innovation institution.

The visiting delegation is composed of members whose fields of focus are transportation and infrastructure. During their stay in Japan, the delegation engaged in discussions with the Committee on Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and conducted visits to major corporations. This luncheon was held as an opportunity for dialogue with startups.

On the day of the event, multiple members of the delegation raised questions regarding challenges in Japan’s transportation sector, the efficiency of regional transportation, and the sustainability of local transportation in the context of population decline and labor shortages. Active discussions were also held on mobility-related challenges shared between Japan and Europe. From our side, we introduced our initiatives to connect the mobility experience of inbound foreign tourists with regional transportation by combining a Metaverse (virtual space) × Mobility experiential platform with small EVs.

AES Mobility will continue to engage in dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders both in Japan and abroad, and will work to create new mobility experiences in the fields of tourism mobility and regional mobility.
